The Federal Way City Council consists of seven members who are directly elected by the citizens for four-year terms. The City Council establishes law and policy by passing ordinances and resolutions. 2018 City Council Retreat
The Federal Way City Council held its annual retreat on Feb. 3 at Dumas Bay Centre. The Council and Mayor Jim Ferrell generated a list of forward-looking goals for the City. You can read the complete report from the retreat here.
